Launch of two IDEXLYON flagship calls for proposals

Two major calls for proposals were published on 18 December 2017: the IDEXLYON fellowships and the Scientific Breakthrough Program which aim to improve the site's attractiveness and to support innovative and ambitious research projects.

To give full scope to IDEXLYON's academic ambitions, the Université de Lyon is launching two major calls for proposals today:

  • The call for proposals IDEXLYON FELLOWSHIP which aims to attract top-level scientists with significant international experience. The winners of the call for proposals will receive significant resources to develop their research program, to support their move and to build a team with a view of staying permanently at the Lyon Saint-Étienne site. The support program will run for three years with a total maximum funding of 1.2 million euros for each project. For more information, please visit the project web page.
  • The call for proposals SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGH PROGRAM will support scientific advancement within a small number of teams. The winners of the call for proposals will receive support to fund innovative and ambitious research activities in order to respond to major scientific and socio-economic challenges.
