Covid-19, measures taken for IDEXLYON 2020 projects

On The April 21, 2020

In light of recent Covid-19 developments, measures have been put in place for the IDEXLYON 2020 projects.

IDEXLYON’s international activities

In view of the recent Covid-19 outbreak, the IDEXLYON Executive Committee (COMEX) met on March 31, 2020, and decided to:
  • Suspend international activities for two months;
  • Cancel incoming and outgoing international mobility programs until the end of 2020 and maintain those already in progress;
  • Suspend the IDEXLYON 2020/2021 masters program scholarship campaign.

The Université de Lyon is keeping international students well informed about the measures it is taking, and maintains contact with its member institutions, project developers and international scientists. It continues to provide support for your projects and studies and endeavors to maintain its ongoing projects aiming to strengthen its international partnerships.

Support campaign for colloquiums and themed schools

The Université de Lyon has, of course, taken into account the particular circumstances resulting from Covid-19 safety measures. Postponed events which have been granted financial support as part of the support campaign for colloquiums and themed schools will retain their funding, provided that they are rescheduled to take place before the IDEXLYON project’s eligibility deadline (December 31, 2021).

To ensure that the credits are made available by the managing institution, a new allocation order for the new event dates will be sent to project developers as soon as possible.
