The IDEXLYON launches the second edition of the ELAN-ERC scheme
On The June 23, 2020
For the second year running, the IDEXLYON is launching the ELAN-ERC scheme to support and guide researchers and research lecturers in preparing their applications for the European Research Council’s (ERC) call for projects.
A “Writing a Competitive Proposal” program was organized for 12 participants in June. The program included: “How to plan and structure your application”, “How to provide a comprehensive, compelling application”, “How to enhance your project”, and “How to be clear and concise”.
This training was provided by video-link in view of the recent health crisis. A second session is planned for this fall.
To find out more about the scheme, the Université de Lyon met with Lauriane Locatelli, a young researcher from the laboratoire d’Histoire et Sources des Mondes Antiques (HiSoMA). Lauriane worked as a postdoctoral researcher as part of the Hospitam project in 2019. The project was led by Claire Fauchon-Claudon, a beneficiary of the first ELAN-ERC grant. She is currently working on the Hairesis project with Madalina Dana, winner of the 2020 IMPULSION call for projects.
