The Strategic Orientation Council, common to the Université de Lyon and the Fondation pour l'Université de Lyon, discussed the progress of the Target-University during its meeting on October 5, 2020.

The Strategic Orientation Council (COS) met this Monday, October 5, 2020 to provide an update on the project to create the University of Lyon-Saint Étienne, ULYSE. It is under this common and unifying brand that the new public institution will bring together its four founders (Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Jean Moulin Lyon 3, Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne universities and the École normale supérieure de Lyon) and will rely on privileged partnerships with the nine engineering schools on the site (including schools associated by decree), Sciences Po Lyon, Université Lumière Lyon 2, VetAgro Sup, ENSAL, the regional hospitals of Lyon and Saint-Étienne and national research organizations (CNRS, Inserm, Inria, INRAE and IFP Énergies nouvelles).
